WHAT DOES THE POSITION CONSIST OF?

  • Monitor production efficiency and other performance indicators on a daily basis in order to identify sources of non-value added;
  • Manage the company's portfolio of continuous improvement projects;
  • Lead improvement workshops with multidisciplinary teams (Hoshin or Kaizen planning);
  • Manage manufacturing and logistics optimization projects;
  • Participate and guide the analysis of manufacturing processes;
  • Identify improvement actions (short and medium term) based on the analysis of priority issues and suggest action plans;
  • Participate in the animation of the production teams;
  • Target and perform in-depth analysis for complex problems;
  • Participate in the analysis of new projects, the definition of manufacturing methods, and the analysis of quality failures;
  • Participate in the development of action plans leading to the implementation of the project and its maintenance;
  • Write technical project documentation;
  • Perform various related tasks.

ARE YOU THE NEXT MEMBER OF THE TEAM WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical or other engineering disciplines;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Ability to evaluate processes and operating systems for manufactured products;
  • Bilingualism French/English is an asset;
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel...) as well as some design software knowledge;
  • Good problem analysis skills, be methodical and autonomous;
  • Knowledge and mastery of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Project management/work management skills;
  • Demonstrate leadership and resourcefulness;
  • Political savvy;
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to learn quickly;
  • Well managed total quality/reengineering processes;
  • Strategic thinking;
  • Ability to communicate the vision of key goals;
  • Ability to plan, manage time and priorities.
