NANUK 915 Lid Organizer

The organizer is a great accessory for my Nanuk 963. I travel weekly for work and now am able to leave my backpack which had my iPad, accessories and other random stuff in it because now it goes in the kid organizer. My only complaint is that the tape that comes on it, doesn’t stick to the lid of the Nanuk. The only thing holding it to the lid are the screws. So I hope it holds up.

Each compartment is too small to be practical enough to hold first aid items, like large bandages and gauze without folding them. You should provide an option to get one large compartment for the lid. Also, the screws to install came perilously close to penetrating the lid from the outside. I think that is ridiculous to have that occur. That needs improvement for sure.

The built quality as always is great though unlike the lid organiser for the 935 it’s almost impossible to hold a laptop within one of the two zipped sleeves unless you have a MacBook Air or iPad Pro .
It’s very difficult to install
The lid as holes were very small and I struggled to target the lid screw holes. And I certainly you install it good luck to change your mind . I wish they added a butterfly flap system to be able to remove the lid if needed .

Nice. Will work great. A bit expensive for what it is.

I own about a dozen Nanuk cases and, unfortunately, one of my drone cases (915) didn’t have a lid cover available. But I was able to retrofit a 918 case and the lid organizer helps SO MUCH with holding accessories and parts and they’re just an integral part in just about all the Nanuk cases I own. It’s easy to install, looks FANTASTIC, and is a MUST HAVE for your Nanuk case.

It’s a lid organizer. The screws don’t fit, so I had to use my own. It’s working for my needs, which is to carry tools across the country on flights. I just wish there was more room in the case for more room with a deeper lid organizer.

I’m doing a project on Drone Archaeology and had to shuttle my drones and all the gear into the middle of nowhere. Having the 920 gave me the courage to take it where I would have been hesitant to hike in. (Think ‘the side of a cliff’.) the organiser was a wonderful addition to keep everything I needed together and make it easily accessible. The main compartment was great for a fold up launch pad, the smaller pockets held extra memory cards, the filters for infrared photography (had the drone camera altered to full spectrum photography), and still have room to grow.

Overall the zipper pockets are nice and offer a decent amount of space. The file/computer holder/sleeve is a nice touch. It is a little tight even with the velcro loosened, but overall a nice to have.

I use the 915 as an everyday quick grab case for my tools kit for field service work on electrical equipment. I also use a 935s to store my oscilloscope, my spare parts, and miscellaneous tools. They are easy to carry/ transport and my vehicle stays clean and organized.
