TERRITORY MANAGER Ontario and Western Canada
As part of the joint development of the NANUK and SKB brands in Canada, we are seeking an experienced business-to-business sales professional to manage a large territory with strong growth potential.
THE POSITION
Reporting to the National Sales Director – Canada, the Territory Manager is responsible for driving business growth across Ontario and Western Canada. The successful candidate will develop new accounts, strengthen relationships with distribution partners, and oversee the overall performance of the territory.
This field sales role requires regular customer interaction, disciplined opportunity pipeline management, and the ability to professionally represent protective, customized, and technical packaging solutions.
TERRITORY AND WORK ARRANGEMENT
• Primary territory: Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia, as well as other Western Canadian provinces and territories, as required. The ideal candidate would be based in Ontario, Alberta, or British Columbia.
• Home-based position combined with field sales activities.
• Regular travel by car and air throughout the territory.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development and Customer Acquisition
• Prospect, qualify, and convert new customers among distributors, value-added resellers, integrators, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and end users through customer visits, product presentations, and lead-generation activities.
• Identify strategic accounts, requests for proposals, and high-potential projects in the industrial, energy, aerospace, medical, technology, telecommunications, defence, and public safety sectors.
Account and Partner Management
• Grow existing accounts and distribution partnerships, develop account growth plans, and identify cross-selling opportunities between NANUK and SKB.
• Present products and customization, foam, and technical packaging solutions; build relationships with procurement, technical, operational, and executive stakeholders; and conduct regular business reviews while protecting profitability and brand positioning.
Territory Planning and Management
• Develop and execute the annual territory plan by prioritizing accounts, industries, and geographic markets based on growth potential, and plan travel to ensure effective territory coverage.
• Monitor competitors, market trends, and customer needs, and represent NANUK and SKB at trade shows, industry events, and distributor meetings.
Sales Performance Management
• Maintain accurate CRM records for accounts, activities, quotations, and opportunities; prepare reliable sales forecasts, explain variances, and manage opportunities through to the final purchasing decision.
• Prepare reports on sales performance, the opportunity pipeline, new accounts, and major projects.
Internal Collaboration
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Design, Customer Service, and Technical Services to advance customization, foam, integration, and technical packaging projects.
• Ensure the timely flow of information, communicate territory-related risks and issues, and participate in sales meetings, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Perform any other related duties.
THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Three to five years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales, territory management, account management, or business development.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers and growing existing accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong opportunity pipeline management, sales forecasting, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software; knowledge of Salesforce is considered an asset.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and able to work independently and effectively from a home office.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly by car and air, with a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle. (30% of the time)
• Experience in protective cases, technical packaging, industrial products, distribution, manufacturing, or OEM solutions is considered an asset.
• Professional proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, to collaborate with customers, partners, and colleagues across Canada.
