Production Planner Supervisor

YOUR CHALLENGE 

  • Mobilize, coach, motivate, assign and train production planners; 
  • Manage productivity, including operational efficiency and speed of execution; 
  • Optimize production schedules to maximize line occupancy in the short and medium term; 
  • Review daily schedule performance against expectations and monitor operational efficiency; 
  • Participate in the optimization of methods, tools and performance indicators for effective production planning; 
  • Contribute to the implementation and optimization of planning systems, including system configuration and process improvement; 
  • Plan the production of finished products at our subcontractors; 
  • Act as a resource for both department employees and colleagues from other departments for in resolving operational issues; 
  • Participate in the development of safety stock and reorder point policies for finished products to support sales objectives and optimize inventory levels; 
  • Develop and maintain best practices for ERP system usage; 
  • Collaborate with production teams to establish efficient production sequences; 
  • Perform various related tasks 

ARE YOU THE NEXT TEAM MEMBER WE'RE LOOKING FOR?  

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations management or DEC with relevant experience or in another relevant field; 
  • Five (5) years of experience in production, distribution or inventory planning and personnel management; 
  • Expert-level proficiency with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning; Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) and Excel; 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage priorities; 
  • Comfortable working in an open-plan, dynamic and collaborative environment; 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively plan order; 
  • Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel and Power Point); 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and inspire a team; 
  • Ability to manage a high volume of tasks autonomously and independently; 
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to continuous improvement; 
  • Bilingualism is essential, both spoken and written, in French (intermediate) and English (advanced) to effectively interact with our internal and external clients.
