In a context of sustained growth and continuous optimization of our manufacturing operations, NANUK is creating a new position: Manufacturing Operations Chief– Production and Warehouse. This individual will play a key role in operational performance by providing leadership to supervisory teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting strategic projects, including the optimization of our systems and operational practices.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?
OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
· Lead, coach, and develop Production and Warehouse Supervisors.
· Ensure operational objectives are achieved while maintaining standards, quality requirements, and health and safety practices.
· Support problem-solving initiatives and overall operational performance.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
· Optimize processes, resources, and workforce planning.
· Implement and enhance operational tools, systems, and best practices.
· Monitor and follow up on health and safety action plans.
WMS IMPLEMENTATION AND OPTIMIZATION
· Participate in the deployment and optimization of the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
· Optimize inventory management, inventory accuracy, warehousing, and shipping processes.
· Support teams in adopting new processes and ways of working.
MANAGEMENT AND COLLABORATION
· Participate in budget management and KPI monitoring.
· Prepare and analyze performance reports.
· Collaborate with various departments to achieve organizational objectives.
· Perform other related duties as required.
ARE YOU THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
· Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Operations and Logistics Management, Business Administration, or another relevant field;
· Minimum of five (5) years of experience in manufacturing operations and people management;
· Demonstrated hands-on and engaging leadership style focused on action, talent development, coaching, and employee engagement;
· Self-motivated, resourceful, and results-oriented;
· Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, to collaborate with international teams and partners;
· Ability to develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), establish action plans, and ensure their execution;
· Good proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Business Central or a manufacturing ERP system;
· Experience managing ERP, MRP, MES, or WMS implementation and improvement projects (a strong asset);
· Knowledge of continuous improvement and operational excellence methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, Kaizen, TPS, 5S);
· Experience in a manufacturing environment.
