Demand Planner

We are currently looking for a Demand Planner for our head office in Terrebonne. The candidate must be experienced in supply chain.

Role and responsibilities of the position:

  • Implement demand planning processes in collaboration with sales, marketing and finance teams;
  • Ensure coordination with the various departments of the company and be involved in the S&OP process (sales and operations planning);
  • Plan and track new product launches in collaboration with marketing, sales, product development and operations teams;
  • Ensure the planning and monitoring of tailor-made projects;
  • Collaborate with the procurement and procurement team to define inventory management strategies;
  • Ensure visibility into procurement risks;
  • Implement and improve planning tools and implement best practices;
  • Ensure the accuracy and updating of the master data;
  • Set up the configuration of the systems and ensure the revision and optimization;
  • All other related tasks.

Your knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management or other specialization deemed relevant combined with at least 5 years of minimum experience in planning and procurement;
  • Knowledge of system implementation is an asset in a supply chain or manufacturing environment;
  • Bilingual (French and English); read, write and speak;
  • Good command of the MS Office Suite, especially Excel (advanced level);
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, MRP (an asset);
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing environment (an asset).
